Lethbridge reminds me of an old CCR song about a town the guys never thought they would ever get out of. Anyone remember the town?
Anyway, we finally got the drivetrain fixed on la jefa but it took the entire day to get it done. The bill was over $1600.00 in Canadian dollars and should have been covered under the extended service contract that my Father purchased from the Good Sam Company that provides an extended warranty for RV’s. They denied the claim because it wasn’t clear what caused the driveshaft to break. The company that did the repair told them that the CV joint let go and caused the trouble. Seems cut and dry to me? We did get ahold of a manager and he asked us to fax him the bill for further review. Stay tuned on that…
The one constant through all of this has been the dog. That’s right Benz the dog. It’s interesting that just when you get all wound up about what’s wrong with the world and it seems that nothing can go your way, the dog jumps up on your lap, tail wagging, and gives you a big dog kiss on the side of the face. He has no idea what is going on but is always so happy just to see you. It’s at that exact moment when he looks up at you with those little brown eyes that the day’s events just seem to melt away. I can’t imagine this trip without him. He has even helped to calm my folks (working overtime!).

Glad you’re up and rolling again. Yes,the unconditional love of an animal always soothes the the troubled soul. If you can’t get satisfaction from Good Sam I suggest calling “Get Gephart.”

We have had fun actually, I know it sounds crazy with all of the trouble but this is the first time in over twenty years that my folks and I have been on an adventure together. We are re-discovering one another!

Hey Dawn, Mike was trying out a poodle shave on him and decided he didnt like it!
Just kidding, he was sick a few weeks ago and they shaved his leg to administer drugs.
