It is Sunday April 15th, 2012 and I am in Michigan where my parents live to finalize the details of our upcoming two month trek to Alaska. We will be finalizing details about the route, food, fuel costs, maintenance costs, sites to see and whether or not my parents can get along for that period of time in a tight space.
I am supposed to be riding my new Steve McQueen Triumph but the delivery date has been pushed back to June (the date we are to depart) and that makes me nervous. I do have a back up plan to purchase a used KLR-650 Kawasaki if that happens. Stay tuned…

The bike will be late. The parents wont get along, still say you will have to spoon with dad, lol, and the motorhome will break down at some point in time…That is the usual Chesney luck, just sayin…. But on the other hand I hope you have an awesome time and everythin goes well.
