10,000 MILES, TWO OLD PEOPLE, A SCHNAUZER AND A TRIUMPH

We have agreed on the route, found some landmarks to visit, got the motorhome serviced and ready to go, so now all we have to do is get the rolling hotel to Utah by June 6th to launch this puppy!

MOTORCYCLE TRIP TO ALASKA

Motorcycle to Alaska

It is Sunday April 15th, 2012 and I am in Michigan where my parents live to finalize the details of our upcoming two month trek to Alaska. We will be finalizing details about the route, food, fuel costs, maintenance costs, sites to see and whether or not my parents can get along for that period of time in a tight space.

I am supposed to be riding my new Steve McQueen Triumph but the delivery date has been pushed back to June (the date we are to depart) and that makes me nervous. I do have a back up plan to purchase a used KLR-650 Kawasaki if that happens. Stay tuned…
